Bouteille de Cinzano Rosso Cinzano Rosso

The original

An authentic aperitif, Cinzano Rosso contains a blend of over thirty aromatic plants, in which woody prune aromas dominate. A slight touch of bitterness, with floral and spicy notes.

Bouteille de Cinzano Blanco Cinzano Blanco

The most subtle

In all seasons, Cinzano Blanco is an invitation to enjoy a fresh, subtle drink. A marriage of plants carefully harvested in the Mediterranean Alps and in Asia, this delicate aperitif reveals citrus fruit and vanilla flavours with great finesse.

Bouteille de Cinzano Arancio Cinzano Arancio

The spirit of the South

The latest Cinzano creation, Arancio with extracts of orange was launched on the market in September 2003. Its characteristics? A fruity aroma with hints of toffee and candied oranges, and an attractive golden colour: two key assets for this gourmet aperitif with a very contemporary taste.

An Italian conquest
  • 1757 Brothers Carlo Stefano and Giovanni Giacomo founded the house of Cinzano in Pecetto, an Italian village near Turin, in the Piémont region.

  • 1859 The family heir, Francesco Cinzano developed the brand throughout Italy, then internationally. The reputation of the vermouth spread to Nice, Savoie and as far as South America. His son Eric continued the work of promoting the brand.

  • 1900 In order to produce Cinzano in France, Alberto Marone, Enrico Cinzano's son-in-law, set up a new production plant near Marseille.

  • 1938 Cinzano was taken over by Pernod in France.

  • 1950 Cinzano was one of the biggest advertisers in France, in all sectors combined, thanks to considerable investments in promotion.

  • 2003 Cinzano Arancio was launched.

Cinzano is an association of white wines from Southern Europe and plant spirits. Cold infusions of flowers and some thirty aromatic herbs give it its fresh, spring-like floral flavour.

Cinzano is usually served chilled, with ice cubes.

Cinzano Rosso and Arancio are enjoyed with a slice of orange, Cinzano Bianco with a slice of lemon.

Cinzano provides an ideal base for the creation of a variety of cocktails.
