THE ABF (L'ASSOCIATION DES BARMEN DE FRANCE - FRENCH BARTENDERS' ASSOCIATION)

Created over 60 years ago, the “Association des Barmen de France” (ABF) is the only official French bartenders' association, and is a member of the International Bartenders Association. Its members are experienced bartenders, most of whom have trained in a catering training establishment, who work in compliance with its recommended code of ethics.

Since it was established, the ABF has supported the joint interests of its members and its partners – companies making spirits, champagnes, beers, soft drinks, mineral waters and other bar products – and the consumers. To this end, it fulfils several missions: upholding the corporation's good name, overseeing the quality of the origin of products and playing its role of consultant – passing on its knowledge to young people within the framework of training.
